A Stolen Love

Prince Adam sat quietly in the room his kidnapper had left him in over a hour ago. He'd just slipped away from his guards so he could go on a quiet walk when a tall man with his face covered had jumped down in front of him. The man then had held a dagger to his thoat and ordered him not to scream. The man had led him to a horse, Adam found himself blindfolded and his hands bound in front of him before being helped up on the horse. Adam had lost track of how long they had rode when they finally stopped. Adam was helped off and carried into a house, he'd placed on a bed and told to wait there and behave. Adam finally decided to rest, he laid down and closed his eyes. He fell asleep quickly and did not wake up when the door opened again

Harris Lacroix had no other option than to become a thief after leaving his family. He had tried to raise them but he couldn't. Their mother was very confident in having them raised her way and she made sure that her way did not please him. But tonight the job of all jobs had landed in his lap. He had kidnapped one of the princes. He smiled as he entered the room he had placed the young man, his face still covered. "Glad to see you're up," he smirked.

Adam stared nervously up at his kidnapper, "Why did you take me?" He asked softly.

"Your a prince. The money I will get from kidnapping you," smirked Harris, crossing his arms over his chest.

Adam swallowed softly, some of his long blonde hair falling into his face. He was being held for ransom.

Harris smirked, "Yer gonna love this place."

Adam shiver slightly before asking, "How long are you going to keep me here?"

"Until yer mother and father decide to give me money."

Adam swallowed hard, his father and mother were far away over seeing things in another city and did not think to return for at least a month!

Harris smirked, "Whats wrong little prince? Terrified? I'm not going to hurt you child."

Adam shivered and blushed, looking down to hid it.

Harris smirked, "Make yourself at home. This place is your home until your parents come for you."

Adam nodded slowly, he laid back down on the bed he needed a escape plan.

Harris smirked, "Well, are you going to be making us dinner?"

Adam looked at him. "I-I don't now how to cook..."

Harris rolled his eyes, "Of course not." he went to the stove and began to heat up water.

Adam watched quietly as his captor worked.

Harris finished the food and ran a hand over his face, "Well...it's done..."

Adam nodded slowly, he wasn't sure if his nerves would let him eat though.

"Eat," Harris demanded, looking at him sternly. "Your thin enough as it is."

Adam nodded before starting on his food slowly.

Harris ate, without using a knife and fork because he only had one set and could not afford another.

When Adam had finished his food he said softly. "Thank you for the meal sir."

Harris smirked, "I judge it was good, even compared to palace foods."

Adam just nodded, he wanted to go home.
