As a young man Carter idolized the army. As an adult, Carter became one of the best snipers that the Green Berets had ever had. After being shot in the knee, he was medically discharged. He found that he had nothing waiting for him in the states and realized he had no purpose. That's when he took a job as an assassin. Carter's a people pleaser, he originally took this job to take out the scum of the universe. When he foudn out that he got just as much money for killing others, he decided it was worth his time.
