"Good," Brian said, smiling. "I'll be back later." He added before leaving, locking Jay in.

Jay got up slowly and went into the kitchen and opened the frige to see what he could make. He still wondering what was going to happen.

By the time Brian reached Grel's his confidence had vanished. He never liked dealing with any of the bosses, especially not Grel.

Grel scowled at the assassin. "Why are you here?"

Brian swallowed nervously. "Um...About one of your...boys. Jay Reso..." Brian said, standing up straight in hopes that he didn't look as nervous as he felt. He knew Grel and his people could be violent when Grel wasn't happy.

Grel raised a brow, "What about Jason?" He asked quickly.

"He-he's fine. He was just um, a witness... My target was trying to...have his way with him..." Brian stuttered nervously.

Grel shook his head as he closed his eyes. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm not going to kill him." Brian said. "I sure as hell ain't paying to replace him, I can't afford it." He added rudely without thinking, only realising what he'd said afterwards.

"So your taking him." Grel said, letting the rudeness slide.

"Um well, not really," Brian said. "Just...keeping an eye on him until the cops decide the guy isn't important enough to worry about who killed him. Can't have a witness walking around while they investigate, can I?"

"So how long will you be keeping a eye on him for then?" Grel asked.

"Maybe a week, or a few. I don't know. How should I know how long the cops will bother investigating for?" Brian snapped impatiently, thinking he should have slept before coming here. He was always rude and impatient when he was tired.

"Fine just bring him back in one piece." Grel snapped back.

Brian jumped slightly when Grel snapped at him, knowing he'd annoyed him. He stupidly rolled his eyes before turning away to leave. "Why wouldn't I...?" He mumbled as he started walking away.

Grel just rolled his eyes. Jay had just finished making some mac and cheese and was putting some in a bowl.

Brian left, sighing in relief that he'd just gotten away with that. He didn't like the way Grel's bodyguards were watching him though. He walked a little faster, hoping to get out of there quickly incase Grel changed his mind about letting Brian's behaviour slide.

Grel just let Brian leave, needing to plan how the others could make up for Jay's absince.

Once Brian was out of the building, he ran. He just wanted to get back to the safehouse where he was keeping Jay and sleep; before he pissed anyone else off. He was too busy looking over his shoulder for cops and to make sure Grel's people weren't there, feeling paranoid, to look where he was going. He ended up running into someone and fell.

"Brian you ok?" Lexie asked his friend as he helped him up.

"Oh...yeah, sorry about that." Brian said. "Thanks." He added when he was standing again, breathing heavily from running.

"Did you mouth of again?" Lexie asked.

"Uh...maybe." Brian said, fixing his hood. "I haven't really slept much since I last saw you..." He admitted, though he couldn't remember how long ago he'd last seen his friend.

"Go rest Bri." Lexie said, "I'll get you a few days off."

Brian nodded slowly. "Thanks Lex." He said, smiling.
