The Truth of the Matter

Jay swallowed hard, he saw the fear in the mans eyes. Which scared Jay cause it meant the man could do anything.

Seth swore again, not knowing what he'd do if the man's boss wouldn't pay for him.
He curled his hands into fists as if he was going to hit the man again, which he wasn't planning on doing. He did it so that it wasn't obvious that his hands were shaking.

Jay flinched again and backed up hoping the man wouldn't hit him again.

Seth sighed and took deep breaths, calming himself down. After a few minutes he slowly turned back around to face the other man, no longer looking like he was going to hit anyone.
As he looked at the other man, he frowned.

Jay was still tense, thinking thet the man was going to hit or hurt him.

Seth turned around again and walked into his kitchen area, opening the freezer. He pulled out an ice pack and threw it at the man, not caring if he caught it or not.
Instead of explaining, Seth pointed at a mirror that hung on the wall. He'd left a nasty looking bruise on the man's face where he'd hit him.

Jay caught the icepack before looking at the mirror the man had pointed to. He whinced when he saw the bruise before holding the icepack up to the bruise. "T-Thanks."

Seth didn't hear him say thanks, he'd already disappeared into his room. He leaned against the wall, head in his hands as he thought.
He definitely wasn't a killer, so that wasn't an option. He was just someone who did what he had to, not because he wanted to.
All seth wanted was a better life.

Jay sighed as he sat down on the couch. He didn't know what was going to happen and he was scared.

Seth didn't come back out of his room for a while, eventually sitting on the floor as he thought about how to adjust his plan if things didn't work out. He sighed, knowing he should have thought about this and planned it before actually kidnapping anyone. It was too late now though and he was too stubborn to back out.

When he finally came out of his room, Seth sat on the kitchen bench. He rarely actually sat on the couch anyway and didn't want to sit there, knowing he'd just care the man he'd kidnapped again if he sat so close to him.

Jay sighed softly before deciding to lay down.

Seth stayed quiet and watched the man curiously. Now that he had stopped planning, for now, he could see why the man was given the job he had.
'He is kind of cute...' Seth thought as he watched the man lay down.

Jay curled up on the couch and yawned softly as he closed his eyes. It had been a long day and he was tired.

Seth swore quietly and made himself get up and leave the room. He went to lay on his bed and staring up at the roof. He didn't remember doing so, but eventually he went to sleep.

Jay whimpered softly as the nightly nightmares started.

Seth was usually a heavily sleeper, almost as if he was unconscious, besides the fact that he snored softly. He didn't hear the man's reaction to the nightmares at all.

Jay woke with a start and looked around the room nervously. He slowly got up and looked around the small house. Jay nervously peaked into the bedroom. He bit his lip when he saw the man asleep and the key loses around his neck.

Seth was still snoring, still laying on his back on top of the covers. He was still fast asleep and completely unaware that he was being watched.

Jay quietly stepped into the room, if he got the key he could get out. He went to the mans bedside.

Seth still didn't react, he just turned his head, still snoring.

Jay quietly started to slide the key over the mans head. he hoped the man wouldn't wake up.

Seth stirred in his sleep, he hated people touching him, especially when he was sleeping. He rolled over onto his side, but didn't wake up.

Jay froze when Seth moved before starting again. He finally got it over the mans head.

Once the key's familiar weight was gone from where it usually rested, Seth woke up. He suddenly rolled over, grabbing the wrist of the man's hand that held the key, glaring at him.

Jay frozed as his wrist was grabbed, he bit his lip hard at the glare.
