Is This A New Chance?

Jay laid curled up tightly, as tears fell down his face. Once again he had been attacked because of what he was. Jay closed his eyes when he heards someone come down the alleyway

Shannon Moore was known for walking around late at night. Most of his friends didn't get it. A lot of people had it out for Shannon but he didn't really care, all he wanted was to walk the cities with his music on. Taking his usual route Shannon stumbled across a guy laying on the ground. In this part of town prostitutes were known for sleeping but this man didn't seem to be sleeping. Kneeling down he took out a earbud.

"You Ok?"

"I-I'm fine..." Jay said softly as he looked up at the man. He quickly wiped the tears away, hoping the man didn't see him. He sat up slowly and looked down.

Shannon shook his head. "No your not. Come on." slipping an arm under the other man Shannon lifted him easily. "I'll take you to where they will patch you up. Jeff is good at the patch up jobs."

"T-Thanks..." Jay said softly. He stole a sideways glance at the man helping him. He'd never seen him before.

"Don't mention it." Shannon replied as he brought the man closer and closer to his home. It wasn't much of a house but it was home to many others. Taking him inside Shannon set him on the couch. "I'll be right back with Jeff." Shannon left and soon returned,true to his word with Jeff.

Jay whinced slightly as he was set on the couch but he carefully hid it. He looked up as the man entered the room with another man.

Jeff had multicolored hair and he looked at Jay then shannon "Do I wanna ask Shan?"

"Nahh just handle this." Shannon said with a smile and sat next to Jay

Jay gave a nervous smile back, but he stayed tense. He didn't really know how to trust people anymore.

Shannon studied the young man on the couch. "Im Shannon Moore." He said and pointed to Jeff. "The guy working on you is Jeff Hardy. We are going to help you." he picked up a soda off the table and sipped it watching what Jeff was doing.

Jay closed his eyes as Jeff started to look him over.

Shannon looked at the man on the couch. "You can tell us your name or no?" He questioned taking a seat on the chair next to the couch

"J-Jay Reso." Jay answered softly before whincing softly in pain.

Jeff looked at Jay. "Sorry. Deep cut, I had to clean it." He started to dab at it with cleansing before looking at Shannon. "Gonna need the gauz."

Nodding Shannon got up and came back with the requested item. "Who did this to you?" He asked Jay

Jay shrugged. "Some guys i didn't know, they were drunk."

Shannon nodded inspecting the wound. "You'll be fine. Got anywhere safe to stay?"

Jay shrugged. "I'm proably go back to where i was tonight."

"Wrong." Shannon stated and looked into Jays eyes. "You'll stay here. With my gang."

"I-I couldn't you've helped me enough already and..." Jay stummered.

"Funny. I didn't ask." Shannon quirked an eyebrow at the other man and looked away. "Jesse!" He called up the stairs to his friend Jesse Neil. The man looked at the scene and nodded.

"I'll get the bedroom ready." Jesse stated before leaving back up the stairs

Jay bit his lip softly as he looked at the bigger man that came down the stairs.

Jeff finished fixing Jay up and left. "I need music. And sleep." He smiled kindly to Jay. "I'll check those in the morning." He nodded to Shan before leaving

"Lets go." Shannon said and lifted Jay bridal style

Jay nodded slowly at Jeff with a softly thank you. He flushed softly when Shannon picked him up.

Bringing Jay up the stairs to a guest bedroom. It was right between Shannon and Matts so if Jay needed anything he was right there. He nodded to his door. "Thats mine. If you need something you come to me." Shannon opened the guest room and laid Jay on the bed

Jay nodded before curling up and watching Shannon leave.
