Far Too Pretty To Be Givin' It Cheap

Carter smiled, "I'm glad kid."

John smiled softly. He finished his soup and set the bowl aside. His body ached he wanted more than anything to sleep.

Carter smiled, "Well, there yeh go. If yeh need extra blankets they are in the closet."

John smiled softly. "T-Thanks..." He whispered, pulling the blankets tight over him as he was freezing. "Why don't you get in bed with me?" He asked softly.

"Oh I...I wouldn't want to impose," Carter smiled polietly.

John chuckled at him. "It's your bed silly. C'mere." He said, patting the spot next to him.

Carter climbed up in bed next to him, making sure that John had enough space so he didn't think that Carter was trying to make a grab at him.

John smiled softly at him. "Night." He said, settling in the bed, resting against Carter. John was used to men on him. But John wanted to be on Carter. It was different.

Carter smiled, polietly holding Johnny. He wasn't quite to terms with his sexuality yet. Most of his buddies on teh force ridiculed him for it.

John nuzzled his head against Carter's chest. Hi eyes fluttered closed and he fell asleep, luckily having no dreams.

Carter smiled, unable to sleep. He had to be up early tomorrow for the morning patrol, something he did very little of due to his love of sleep.

Johns lept well into the next morning. He never got to sleep in on his mornings, so he was dead asleep, taking advantage of the warm bed and peaceful sleep.

By the time Carter came back, he noticed that Johnny was still asleep and that it was well past noon. He decided to let the young man rest as he went about tiding up his place.

John eventually awoke. He sat up, yawned and stretched before slipping out of the bed, staying in his boxers and slipping on a sweatshirt. He fussed with is hair tiredly as he walked out of the bedroom, seeing Cater. "Hey..." He murmured.

"Hey," Carter smiled jovially. "You sleep good considering you slept all day and partially the night?"

John chuckled and nodded. "Yup, slept like the head. I'm a heavy sleeper." He said. "So how was work, officer?" He teased lightly, snuggling up on the couch.

Carter smiled, "How it usually is. Nothing like they show you in the movies."

John chuckled a little. "I can imagine. The streets, prostitution.. well it's nothing like they see in Law & Order and all that." He said, pulling the blanket tighter around him.

"No no it's not," Carter laughed tiredly. He yawned a bit, "Did you enjoy yourself while I was gone?"

John shrugged. "I slept most of the time." He chuckled. "Which was enjoyable. I haven't had a full nights sleep in a while. Dave always had us up at the crack of dawn and made us stay up late with clients."

"Bautista...he's on my personal catch list. Hurt one of my friends on the force..."

John nodded slowly. "Yeah... he's not a not a nice man." He sighed. "He... beat his moneymakers. It was just not a good place to be." He sighed,looking down at his lap. "I know i'm gonna have to go back sooner or later though."

"I won't let you go back to get hurt," Carter said. "He's never gonna hurt you again."
