Broken Soul (for Wade)

"If it means the evil of the Barrett family's ended, so be it." Zeke said coldly, shooting Wade in the shoulder, hoping to make him suffer first.

"Wade..." Hearing the gunshot, Sheamus suddenly jumped up and ran from Heath's room, going to investigate.

Wade let out a cry of pain, holding his shoulder. He looked at Ezekial, "After...after all I've done for you..."

"What did you do for me? You gave me a job. so what? You gave the others rooms here, but not me!" Zeke yelled.

"Zeke I did give you a room here! You didn't take it!" Wade hissed in pain, trying to draw his own gun without being seen.

"That room was like a broom cupboard compared to the others'!" Zeke snapped, backhanding Wade with his free hand.

Wade held his face, hissing in pain, "I'm sorry! I didn't know the size of the room compared to the size of you!" he managed to pull his gun and pointed it at Zeke. "Drop your weapon."

"No!" Zeke snapped, hitting him again. "I am in charge here!"

Wade dropped his gun, looking at the big man. "Fine...fine you're in charge here..."

Zeke smiled evily, slowly raising the gun to point it at Wade's head. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, a gun went off somewhere nearby. Zeke dropped his gun, screaming as he felt a sharp pain in his arm.

Wade turned to see Sheamus holding his gun. He picked up his own, looking at Zeke and then saying lowly to Sheamus. "He claims it's my fault...that I'd end up like...like my father..."

Sheamus shook his head, quickly going over to Wade when he saw he was hurt. "Yeh won't end up like him..." He said, wrapping an arm around Wade, pulling him close. "I know yeh won't..."

Wade stared at Zeke again, feeling safer in Sheamus' arms. "If you want, I will give you a chance to redeem yourself..."

Zeke laughed, sounding more like some crazed villan than a simple employee. "Yeah right." He went to pick up his gun, until Sheamus pointed his own at the traitor's head.

"Don't even think about it..." Sheamus growled, a cold look in his eyes.

Wade buried his face in his lovers chest, mumbling, "Kill him..."

Sheamus nodded silently, looking away as he pulled the trigger.

Heath and Justin had just gotten outside, having been much slower to react then Sheamus.
Heath put a hand over his mouth looking like he was going to be sick, Justin just fainted, collapsing onto the grass.

Wade kept his face buried in Sheamus' chest. "I...have someone clean it up. And make sure the boys are okay..>'

Sheamus nodded, not looking at Zeke, knowing he'd break down if he did, realising Zeke just met the same fate Sheamus' father had. He put his gun away, slowly walking Wade over to the others.

Heath was over near the bushes, being sick, Justin still out cold on the ground.

Wade stood up and didn't look at Ezekial but grabbed Justin and hoisted him, carrying him into the house. He looked at Sheamus and nodded towards where Heath was getting sick.

Sheamus smiled, slightly amused by Heath's reaction. He waited until Heath was done being sick before putting an arm around his shoulders to lead him in side. "Yeh ok Heath?" He asked.

Heath teared up, "How can you guys do just act like that's okay?"

Sheamus shook his head, not wanting to talk about it. "He...he shot Wade..." He mumbled as they walked.

"But he's dead..." Heath frowned.

"I...know. But better him than Wade..." Sheamus said trailing off, his hand tightening on Heath's shoulder.

He led Heath into the lounge, where the other two were, letting Heath go so he could check on Wade.

Heath nodded and ran to Justin, pulling the young man into his lap.


Wade looked at Sheamus, "He...he hated me for my fathers sins..."

"I-I'm so sorry..." Sheamus said, wrapping his arms around Wade. "Are...you..ok?" He asked, looking at Wade's shoulder.

"Heath...?" Justin mumbled, slowly looking up at him.
