The Blue Oasis

Phil smiled, "I'd love too." He said, "Any place you wanna go?"

Wade sat downstairs, his eyes on his drink as he waited for Belle to get back from wherever she was.


Nolee found the files she wanted, naming associates who worked with Wade and stuffed it into her purse. She turned, eyes wide when she saw Belle. "Um...Miss Belle..."

"You'll be giving me those papers that you took." Belle stated before walking up to Nolee. "We don't like rats. Or cops." She sneered

"There is a local resturant that has the best burgers." Amy smiled and took his hand. "I'll show you."

Phil smiled as he followed Amy to the restarant.

Nolee shook her head, "I'm afraid I can't do that. I've been undercover for months, trying to get these documents. I won't give them up...ever."

"In that case I will take them from you." Belle stepped closer and hit Nolee across the face. "No one is going to bring down my family."

Sitting in a booth Amy ordered and let Phil order before looking to him. "What do you even do for work?"

"I stand outside the door and tell people if they can enter or not." Phil said with a laugh.

Nolee teared up, ready for a fight. "Work like this is what I live for, it's what my entired family lives for. If you want this...you'll have to kill me. Or do you need your husbands permission?"

"My husband will be glad when a cop is dead." Belle smirked. "You wont get out the house with those."

Amy gave him a look. "Dont bullshit me. What do you really do?"

"Well i was a cop but not any more. I'm not sure what i do now." Phil answered.

Nolee shook her head, pulling her gun from her bag. "I'm sorry but I have to..."

Belle looked at the gun with unwavering eyes. "Kill me and the mob downstairs will kill you before you leave here." She walked closer and boxer Nolee into a corner. "Dont even try it."

Amy nodded as she ate her burger. "Ahh a man on the right side of the law. Thats rare."

Jay went over to Wade. "Boss something's wrong."

Nolee shook her head, "I'm dead either way. And if not dead...turned into something I don't want to be..."


Wade looked down at Lexie, "What do you mean?"

"Well sadly for you that leaves those papers in your purse. And I wont let you leave with them." Belle warned with a glare. She had been hopping that she had found a friend in Nolee and was disappointed to be wrong.

Jay shook his head. "I don't know its a feeling sir."

Wade nodded, "Go check it out."

Nolee shook her head, "Belle...I'm making the world a better place..."

"For who? Those who agree with you?" Belle didn't get people like that. People have thier own version of a better world. "I scream and they come up her. Quick as hell. Give me the damn papers!"

Lexie nodded and rushed up the stairs.

Nolee shook her head, "I...I can't Belle..." her eyes clogged with tears. Her entire life, she'd been taught what was right. This? This was far from right.

Belle heard the footsteps and looked back to Nolee. "That man won't hesitate to shoot you. Give me the damn papers!"

Alex pulled his gun. "Miss Bellie whats going on?"

Nolee handed her the papers but when she saw Alex she knew that it was a done deal. They were going to tell Wade about her undercover operation. Her luck had struck out...

Belle took the papers and looked to Alex. "Nothing. Lower your gun. Go back to the party I will be there soon." She smiled to him and watched as he lefft before turning back to Nolee. Her face was blank and her eyes cold. "You leave here. Now. You forget anything you saw on the papers. I dont care if you try again but right now you need to leave." Belle turned and left the room leaving Nolee alone and alive. Going back to the party she slid into her seat next to Wade and acted as though nothing happened.

Alex nodded slowly before returning to the party. He watched as Nolee left quietly.
